Description
The Sheraton Hotel of Eatontown is seeking a passionate culinary professional to join our award-winning team as a Sous Chef. If you thrive in a fast-paced environment and have a flair for high-volume food preparation and presentation, we want to hear from you. The role of Sous Chef is responsible for properly preparing food in a timely manner, while maintaining the highest level of health standards. The Sous Chef should be familiar with the day-to-day operations of the hotel’s kitchen which includes cooking for the on-site restaurant, room service, and all hotel functions.

Requirements
Job Qualifications:
· Time management
· Ability to work as part of a team
· ServSafe Certification preferred
· Excellent communication and organization skills
· 1 to 2 years of restaurant experience preferred
· Ability to multi-task in fast-paced environment
· Ability to stand on feet for long periods of time, kneel, squat, bend
· Ability to lift 20 pounds or more and push/pull 50 pounds or more.
· Ability to use basic kitchen equipment such as knives, stoves, etc
