South Houston Nissan - Body Shop Estimator

South Houston Nissan is looking to hire an Estimator at our dealership!

Job Summary:

The Estimator position is a dynamic role often tasked with multiple responsibilities through the day. This includes writing detailed estimates, handling insurance claims and communicating to clients. 

Duties/Responsibilities:

• Examines damaged vehicles to determine extent of structural, body, mechanical or interior damage.


• Estimates cost of labor and parts to repair or replace damaged items.


• Help Manage incoming calls.


• Identify and assess customers’ needs to achieve satisfaction.


• Build sustainable relationships and trust with customer accounts through open and interactive communication.


• Handle customer complaints, provide appropriate solutions and alternatives within the time limits; follow up to ensure resolution.


• Keep records of customer interactions, process customer accounts and file documents.


• Follow communication procedures, guidelines and policies.


• Take the extra mile to engage customers.


• Coordinate the pick-up and delivery of luxury vehicles directly with clients and vendors.

Required Skills/Abilities:

• Proven customer support experience or experience as a client service representative.


• Prior Estimating experience is required


• Insurance Claims handling experience


• Excellent communication and presentation skills


• Ability to multi-task, prioritize, and manage time effectively


• High school degree
