Front Desk Receptionist Job Summary
Wellness Spa is looking for highly motivated, professional and experienced front desk reception staff to join our growing team. In this position, you will be responsible for all front desk duties supporting guests and employees. As the first face our guests see when they enter our establishment, you must be friendly, provide excellent customer service, be welcoming to visitors, quick at handling questions, complaints, and reservations.
Our ideal candidate will have excellent customer service skills, understand the importance of good communication, and have a positive attitude.
Front Desk Duties and Responsibilities
- Greet guests with a warm and friendly welcome
- Maintain a professional and courteous demeanor towards guests and employees
- Ensure all front desk tasks are covered for the duration of shift
- Book guest appointments
- Encourage guests to book specialty wellness spa treatments
- Conduct and handle service and retail sales
- Field complaints and address guest concerns
- Answer phone inquiries, direct calls and provide basic information
- Address complaints and requests with quality customer service
- Ensue front desk is covered at all times
- Perform other job-related duties as requested
Front Desk Requirements and Qualifications to include but not limited to;
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Excellent problem solving and troubleshooting skills
- Track record in providing high quality customer service
- High school diploma or equivalent (GED) required
- 2+ years of previous experience as a spa front desk or a related role preferred
- Proficient computer skills, including Microsoft Office Suite (Word, PowerPoint, Outlook, and Excel)
- Strict adherence to company philosophy, mission statement, and sales goals
- Pass a criminal background check

Josh Butler, Co Founder & Chief Product Director
Josh Butler is a chemical engineer and chemist by trade. His interest in how chemistry impacts our health and wellness led to his role as our Chief Product Manager. His deep understanding of the benefits of organic products together with his chemistry background has resulted in the creation of a unique and carefully crafted all organic product line of mineral soaking salts, organic sugar polishes and aromatherapy roll on oils.
