The NOW Massage's mission is to nurture the lives of those who desire to mix mindfulness with massage to bring about a completely different experience in self-care. Our approach is curated around our ideology which benefits everyone: self-care always, wellness forever. This is provided through an affordable luxury-style massage in an energy filled environment, contributing to mental and physical healing simultaneously. The Experience Supervisor sets the tone for the boutique, supporting and leading the Experience Guide team, and ensuring the facility is up to the highest standard at all times.

  • Must be customer service-focused.

  • Must have spa-related work experience

  • Must have Marketing and Social Media experience

  • People skills

  • Must have excellent communication skills.

  • Must be able to handle workplace disputes, guest complaints, and any unforeseen emergencies and events and grace, strong leadership, and quick yet discerning decision-making.

  • Must understand the basic principles of auditing, balancing, and closing out accounts.

  • Must be able to respond to individual guest needs and adhere to The NOW Massage standards as written in the employee handbook.

  • Must be computer literate and have the ability to learn various software programs/applications.

  • Must be able to prioritize and handle multiple tasks simultaneously.

  • Willingness to work flexible hours including days, evenings, weekends, and holidays.


Work Environment:

Each NOW Massage boutique is anchored in the belief that self-care is essential. This ideology begins with our team. We air to foster a work environment that is positive, transparent, and safe for everyone. As part of the leadership team, you will be an active part in maintaining that environment.

Daily Functions:

  • Continuously demonstrate all duties and responsibilities as required of the Experience Guide team.

  • Be an inspiration and ambassador of professionalism representing The NOW, LLC.

  • Facilitate strong team dynamics and foster a positive work environment through demonstrated leadership qualities.

  • Facilitate team meetings to ensure strong product and selling-skill knowledge.

  • Participate in recruiting, training, and staffing of the Experience Guide team.

  • Act as a liaison between the Experience Guide, Massage Therapist, and Leadership team.

  • Communicate all updates, new products/offerings, events, and protocols to the Experience Guide team.

  • Manage schedules of Experience Guides and time off requests. The Monthly Experience Guide schedule to be distributed by 15th day of each month for upcoming month after being approved by the Regional Manager.

  • Ensure the facility is always clean and presentable to standards.

  • Be accountable for transactional corrections, guest complaints, and follow-up.

  • Assist with group bookings and communicate directly with group inquiries.

  • Create documents, reports, spreadsheets, and protocols as directed.

  • Oversee retail and back-of-house inventory counts.

  • Assist in forecasting staff needs, related to seasons and staff retention.

  • Assist in providing coverage of Experience Guide shifts due to illness, etc..

  • Participate in boutique supplies, retail, linen, and equipment inventory quarterly to ensure the facility is well prepared and replacement purchases are planned bi-annually.

  • Share suggestions, voice challenges, or any specific concerns to the Leadership Team.

  • Assist the General Manager with guest complaints and/or concerns.

  • Collaborate with the Leadership Team during regular meetings regarding any improvements.

Compensation: $20.00 per hour
