Position Summary - Pay Range $23.00 per hour
The Spa Supervisor is responsible for supervising all Spa personnel to ensure quality health and fitness services to members and guests. The role is also responsible in assisting all operational aspects of the spa.
Essential Functions
- Must adhere to the company’s Service culture – 4 Keys to creating guests for life.
- Must participate in all hotel required meetings and trainings.
- Maintain high standards of personal appearance and grooming, which includes wearing the proper uniform/business attire and nametag.
- Inspect and monitor cleanliness of the spa and comply with safety and health code requirements.
- Ensure facility is prepared for proper opening and closing each day.
- Monitor and maintain the cleanliness and orderliness of the facilities including ensuring facility/amenities are in proper working order.
- Must be the initial and complete source of information regarding what is available at the Spa and all procedures to ensure guest comfort (i.e., treatments, equipment, products and retail items).
- Arrange for all spa appointments for ala carte services/activities and packages.
- Handle all administrative functions of the Spa including: using Spa software, maintaining inventory of supplies, answering telephones, making appointments, and answering questions.
- Provide Spa tours as necessary.
- Oversee efficiency of Spa operations at the front desk via proper scheduling of appointments and staff. Communicate with the front desk staff.
- Review/revise scheduling on a daily basis according to business demands.
- Assist with billing for all Spa services and retail sales including preparing receipts.
- Be thoroughly familiar with and provide instruction on Spa software.
- Assist with inventories and cost controlling.
- Assist in monitoring and evaluating Spa front desk team members.
- Provide CPR/First Aid as necessary.
- Abide by all hotel policies and safety rules.
- Perform other duties as requested by management.
Qualifications
- Previous experience in a similar capacity is preferred.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications is preferred.
Work Conditions and Schedule
- Weekend and holiday availability is required as well as flexibility with work schedule.
- Medium work – Exerting up to 50 pounds of force occasionally, and/or 25 pounds of force frequently or constantly to lift, carry, push, pull or otherwise move objects.
- Standing and walking for extend periods of time may be required.
- Must be able to stand, kneel, squat for prolonged periods of time, up to and including, the entire shift.
