Surfing, kayaking, hiking, photography, beachcombing, and fishing are just some of the outdoor activities enjoyed in this beautiful beach town.

A day in the life...

The Spa Supervisor will directly oversee the daily operations at Tidepools Spa & Wellness and will provide leadership.  Including but not limited to oversight of spa financials, coaching, training, and inspiring team members. This position will work to ensure that all guest experiences are flawless and fully in line with our brand promise of “Extraordinary Coastal Experiences.”

Key Accountabilities:

  • Lead the teams at Tidepools to ensure that all team members are professional, kind, and ready to deliver a flawless experience to our guests.
  • Ensure that the Spa department is consistently meeting the standards of our brand promise. Be responsible for curating and delivering the highest level of service through well-trained and managed team members.
  • Regularly collaborate with stakeholders to create, improve, and deliver a seamless guest experience. Resolve all guest issues through the lens of our core values.
  • Function as the primary contact for guests arriving and departing spa wellness area, engage and assist each providing exceptional, warm, personalized, and knowledgeable service.  
  • Maintain detailed and working knowledge of POS system, software programs, treatment menu offerings, descriptions, and treatment staff modalities, back of house operations, including treatment room set up and standards. 
  • Maintain all Tidepools public areas according to department procedures. 
  • Ensure Spa Menus, Intake Forms, and all other Guest-Facing Collateral are up to date, printed, and ready for the guest. 
  • Effectively and proactively use the booking system according to department procedures. 
  • Ensures that daily operating procedures have been completed properly by all staff members when on shift. Report any concerns directly to the Director of Resort Operations
  • Send out the treatment schedule for the following day to the reception and provider teams. 
  • Collaborate with the reception team to ensure Reception Desk coverage 
  • Confirm and modify Provider schedules in Point of Sale for monthly reviews and shift swaps. 
  • Ensure collaboration between the spa & front desk, including cross-training for all spa team members 
  • Champion culture for the Headlands team, fostering an environment of accountability, learning, and fun!
  • Help ensure that all team members are trained on the Headlands brand and knowledgeable on the overall goal of the Headlands experience. Ensure each team member understands their unique role in delivering amazing experiences.

Requirements

You own this if you have…

  • 1-2 years of experience in a Spa setting, preferably in a spa setting in a hotel. 
  • Prior spa reservations experience preferred
  • Prior hospitality experience preferred
  • At least two years’ customer service experience required
  • Must be a United States citizen or possess a valid work permit
  • Ability to work a flexible schedule that may include evenings, weekends, and holidays
  • Experience with cash handling and completing customer service transactions. 
  • Spa Manager Certification is a plus
  • Must possess a current and valid OLCC server's permit, Food Handlers, and CPR card.
