Job Summary:
The Spa Team Leader plays a key role in overseeing daily spa operations, leading a team of spa professionals, and ensuring exceptional guest experiences. The Team Leader should be able to demonstrate a blend of leadership skills, industry expertise and a passion for delivering high-quality spa experiences.
Key Responsibilities:
Lead and supervise Spa Team Members, including therapists, aestheticians, and support staff.
Provide training, guidance and support to foster a positive, team-oriented, and customer-focused environment.
Oversee daily spa operations, ensuring efficient scheduling, smooth workflow and adherence to quality standards.
Manage inventory, order supplies and maintain equipment and facility upkeep.
Effectively manage and control costs to meet or exceed financial targets.
Contribute to revenue goals through strategic initiatives and efficient operations.
Ensure the Spa operates within the set profitability margin.
Ensure exceptional service quality, cleanliness and a welcoming atmosphere.
Address guest queries and concerns professionally and promptly.
Enforce spa policies and ensure continuous improvement in service delivery.
The ideal candidate must possess:
An Associate Degree or Diploma in Spa Management, Hospitality Management, Business, or a related field.
Proven leadership experience in Spa operations or a supervisory position.
Effective handling of customer complaints and adept at issue resolution.
Strong critical thinking and problem-solving skills for daily operational challenges.
Proficient in Microsoft Word and Excel.
In-depth knowledge of Spa services, treatments, and products.
Familiarity with health and safety regulations and spa industry trends.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for team management.
Able to work independently and collaboratively within a team.
Exceptional customer service and hospitality skills.
Meticulous attention to detail, ensuring a clean and organized work area.
Flexibility to work various shifts, including weekends and holidays, based on demands.
