Space Manager

Project Overview: 

Project Solutions Inc. is seeking personnel to provide a full range of civil engineering and management support services in support of Creech AFB operations. The selected team members will deliver electrical, mechanical, civil, and structural engineering expertise and associated management support, addressing project planning, programming, design oversight, construction management, renovation and demolition activities, and realty specialist services. The overall goal is to support programming decisions to achieve optimum resource efficiency and the lowest life-cycle cost. 

Responsibilities and Duties:

• Serve as the installation space manager and planning professional, overseeing both human and physical aspects of facility space management.
• Manage activities related to space utilization, optimization, and long-term facility planning in support of installation requirements.
• Lead project planning and programming efforts to align space management with mission objectives and operational needs.
• Interpret and apply policy guidance to address unique or complex space management challenges.
• Modify existing techniques and procedures or develop innovative solutions to meet specific facility and operational requirements.

Required Education, Knowledge and Skills:

• Professional knowledge of engineering/planning concepts, principles, practices, standards, methods, and techniques to effectively apply theories, principles, and concepts to installation facility space management, planning, and optimization programs.
• Previous experience as a space manager is highly valued.
• Possess demonstrated knowledge and prior use of data collection, analysis, and representation tools such as project tracking and data management software programs, field survey technology, Geographic Information System (GIS) and Computer Aided Design and Drafting (CADD) applications, and data science and analysis platforms.
• Ability to obtain Secret/Sensitive Compartmented Information (TS/SCI) security clearance.
• Ability to read and interpret plans, schedules, and other specifications.
• Written and verbal communication, problem-solving, and conflict resolution skills
• Strong computer and technology literacy to utilize PCs and mobile devices.
• Ability to multi-task and prioritize in a fast-paced work environment
