Spanish Language Tutor (Private IN School Location Charlotte)

Tutor Doctor Charlotte is a locally owned tutoring company that has proudly served our community for over 8 years. We are currently seeking Spanish Tutors who can support students at the elementary, middle, and high school levels. While Spanish is the primary area of need, we love candidates who are also comfortable tutoring additional academic subjects.

This position is ideal for educators and tutors who are bilingual or highly proficient in Spanish and enjoy working with students across multiple subject areas. This role may offer 5 to 10 hours a week of support at a local Charlotte school. In Person not virtual.

Responsibilities

• 
  

  Provide one-to-one tutoring in Spanish, including grammar, vocabulary, reading, writing, and conversation

  
  


• 
  

  Customize instruction based on each student’s learning style and academic goals

  
  


• 
  

  Reinforce classroom learning and build student confidence

  
  


• 
  

  Complete session notes and progress reports in a timely and professional manner

  
  

Qualifications

• 
  

  Strong proficiency in Spanish; native or near-native fluency preferred

  
  


• 
  

  Prior tutoring or teaching experience in Spanish required. (teaching certifications)

  
  


• 
  

  Ability to tutor one or more additional subjects strongly preferred

  
  


• 
  

  Bachelor’s degree in education, Spanish, or a related field preferred

  
  


• 
  

  Experience working with K–12 students

  
  


• 
  

  Reliable transportation for in-school tutoring sessions (limited virtual opportunities available)
