Spanish Teacher for Private Middle School

Action Day Middle School offers a rich educational experience to children emphasizing small class sizes and a hands-on approach to learning. All students are warmly accepted and guided along their educational path throughout our program in our small, family-like atmosphere. Position Available: Full-time Middle School Spanish Teacher- 5th- 8th Grade

Start date: August 5, 2024

As a Middle School Spanish Teacher, you will Introduce a foreign language and cultural aspects to students to enrich their educational experience while making it relevant and engaging. Along with preparing students for high school Spanish with a solid foundation for Spanish 1, you will provide additional challenges to those planning for Spanish 2 in Grade 9! As you oversee purposeful sequencing of the Spanish program, our teachers keep it fun, fostering a love for language through hands-on learning, speaking and listening opportunities, presentations, and more!

Compensation: $55,000-65,000/yr. depending on individual experience, education and position requirements.

Our ideal candidate will come to us with:

• 3-5 years of teaching experience
• Bachelor’s degree
• Current Teaching Credential (preferred)
• Masters in Education or Related Field (preferred)
• A love and passion for working with students
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• A reliable, can-do attitude with an eagerness to learn and grow
