Spark Safety Operations Coordinator

Main Purpose:

The Spark Safety Operations Coordinator will assist with the daily operations of the organization to ensure goals and objectives are achieved. 

Essential Functions:

• Assist with hiring and training new employees
• Organize and oversee the schedules and work of assigned staff
• Conduct performance & SSE evaluations that are timely and constructive 
• Assist with Work Orders, issuance of POs, and supporting documents for invoicing
• Assist with daily activities related to production and operations
• Measure productivity by analyzing performance data, financial data, and activity reports
• Coordinate with other support departments such as human resources, finance, and logistics to ensure successful production operations
• Assist with shipping and receiving functions
• Take calls on a rotation to assist with operational assignments after hours/weekends
• Operate company vehicles as authorized/assigned
• Perform other duties assigned by supervisor

Job Requirements: 

• 2+ years experience in the Oil and Gas Industry or related field  
• Excellent managerial and supervisory skills
• Extensive knowledge of operations and production management
• Ability to interpret financial data as needed to set production goals
• Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite or similar software
• Ability to work in Shop environment 

Desirable Experience, Education, and Training:

• Ability to Multitask 
• High School Diploma or GED

Tools, Equipment, and Technology:

• Computer and other Office equipment
• Shop tools

Environmental Conditions:

Approximately 20% of work activities will be in a Warehouse environment and approximately 80% of work activities will be in a Office environment. Employee may be required to occasionally visit the Fabrication Yard. Employee may be required to work in changes of temperature, hot, cold, humid, wet, and dry conditions, dust, mud, etc. Employee may also be exposed to fumes (paint, paint thinners, diesel /or gas, etc.)
