We are seeking a dedicated and passionate Special Education Coordinator to join our educational institution. You will be responsible for creating a nurturing and stimulating learning environment for students. You will plan, prepare, and deliver engaging lessons, monitor student progress, provide constructive feedback, and foster a positive and inclusive classroom atmosphere. The ideal candidate will have strong communication and interpersonal skills, a passion for education, and the ability to inspire and motivate students.
Qualifications:
Valid Indiana Teaching License.
Bachelor’s degree in Education or Special Education
Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to adapt teaching strategies to accommodate different learning styles and abilities.
Excellent organizational and time management skills.
Patience, empathy, and a genuine interest in supporting students’ academic and personal development.
Commitment to professional growth and development.
Proficient in using educational technology and digital resources.
Responsibilities:
Supervise the process for initial evaluation and identification of qualifying students requiring special education services and assists in the planning of Individual Educational Programs (IEP).
Act as a liaison with the classroom teacher(s) for the purpose of ensuring the implementation of the established IEP of an assigned student.
Assist in coordinating, developing, monitoring and evaluating the effectiveness of the IEP.
Provide thorough and timely reports, data, and information as requested.
Consult with the appropriate school personnel directly responsible for the implementation of the IEP for disabled students.
Plan, implement, and monitor the provision of services for non-public programming related to special education.
Assist with planning, implementing, and monitoring staff development and growth activities for staff members in the area of special education.
Coordinate and monitors services for students participating in district-wide special education classrooms and out-of-district placements.
Maintain a working knowledge of Board, Federal, and State Department policies and procedures for special education services.
Assist in monitoring and determining special education caseloads and schedules.
Assist in the developing and updating of supportive resources for staff as it relates to special education law and processes.
Additional tasks may be assigned by the Supervisor
Salary and Scheduling vary based on the program and qualifications.

Salary: up to $58,854.00 based on licenses, case loads, education, etc.
*This role requires you to reside or relocate to the Goshen, IN , USA area.
