Special Education Itinerant Teacher (SEIT) - CPSE School Year Caseloads

All About Kids is currently hiring Special Education Itinerant Teachers (SEIT) for its NYC Department of Education Preschool Contract Program!

Our team will customize a convenient caseload for you at a single location or closely located schools with minimal travel necessary. Whether you are looking to complement your current caseload or switch fully into providing AAK SEIT services at preschools, we have many options of full and part time caseloads available for qualified teachers in Private, Public and Charter schools located throughout all regions of NYC.

Our experienced Program Supervisors ensure you are supported in your placements throughout the year.

Compensation

• $70 per hour

Requirements

• BA/MA/MS and New York State Certification in either

-Special Education Permanent Certificate or

-Students with Disabilities, Birth to Grade 2

• Cannot be a current NYC DOE Employee but can be considered if 1 yr 1 day out

Responsibilities

• Provide services in school-based settings and work with a diverse client caseload
• Monitor and track progress on IEP goal(s)
• Develop and maintain a complete, accurate and current record with all required documents and data
• Deliver in-person services effectively
• Develop creative goal plans aimed at improving overall well-being
• Have excellent organizational skills
