Special Education Teacher 75 per hour - short term leave

Boston Speech Therapy is excited to announce an opening for a Special Education Teacher! We are seeking a dedicated educator to join our dynamic team and support students with diverse learning needs. This position offers a competitive pay rate of $75 per hour.

Your role will involve providing specialized instruction in a variety of subjects, creating an inclusive classroom environment, and collaborating with other educational professionals to ensure student success.

This is a short-term leave role, filling in for someone between Septermber - November.

*Key Responsibilities*

• Develop and implement Individualized Education Plans (IEPs) tailored to student needs
• Utilize effective teaching strategies to engage and support all learners
• Monitor student progress and adjust instruction as needed to meet educational goals
• Collaborate with general education teachers to facilitate inclusion and support
• Communicate regularly with families regarding student progress and challenges

*Qualifications*

• Bachelor's degree in Special Education or a related field; Master's degree preferred
• Valid state certification in Special Education
• Experience teaching diverse learners, particularly those with special needs
• Strong understanding of behavior management and instructional strategies
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work collaboratively with team members and families
• Commitment to fostering a positive and inclusive educational environment

• 1099 position
• about 35 hours per week
• up to $75/hour
