Special Education Teacher Juvenile Detention Services (CO)

About the Role:

Arrow Alliance Industries is hiring two Special Education Teachers to support juveniles with special needs in federal detention settings. The role involves ensuring compliance with IDEA and FAPE and delivering tailored instruction to detained Native American youth.

Responsibilities: 

· Review, implement, and manage Special Education Individualized Education Plans (SIEPs).

· Coordinate with contractors and local schools to ensure special accommodations.

· Train educators and detention staff on IEP procedures and compliance.

· Provide or oversee the delivery of services per the Individuals with Disabilities Education Act (IDEA).

· Contribute to student progress reports and IEP documentation.

Qualifications:

· Bachelor’s degree from an accredited institution.

· Valid Special Education Certification.

· Knowledge of IDEA, FAPE, and juvenile education best practices.

· Experience in correctional education or high-needs youth environments preferred.
