**Job Opportunity: Special Education Teacher - Lakewood Shores**

**Position:** Special Education Teacher
**Location:** Lakewood Shores, IL
**Employment Type:** Full-Time (37.5 - 40 hours per week)
**Start Date:** August 14th, 2024
**Onsite Only**

**Responsibilities:**
- Develop and implement individualized education programs (IEPs) for students with special needs.
- Provide instruction tailored to the unique learning needs of students.
- Collaborate with other educators, therapists, and support staff to create a supportive learning environment.
- Assess student progress and adjust teaching strategies as needed.
- Maintain accurate records and documentation in pliance with state and federal regulations.

**Qualifications:**
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Special Education or related field.
- Valid Illinois Special Education Teacher certification.
- Experience working with students with a variety of disabilities preferred.
- Strong munication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
