About the Role: As an Tutor at Tutor Me Education, you’ll provide personalized, one-on-one tutoring to students with special needs in their homes. You will be responsible for helping students with daily activities, offering moral support, and delivering tailored instruction based on their Individualized Education Plan (IEP).

We are currently hiring for multiple positions across all cities in Murrieta, CA

Details:

• In-Person Tutoring in Murrieta, CA
• Schedule: 1 session a week for 1 hour
• Competitive hourly rate based on experience

Ideal Candidate:

• Experience in special education with a focus on literacy and behavior intervention.
• Skilled in working with students exhibiting dyslexia and auditory learning preferences.
• Familiarity with ABA principles and ability to integrate behavioral supports.
• Strong organizational and communication skills.
• Patient, adaptable, and committed to student-centered instruction.

Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver targeted reading instruction addressing decoding, fluency, and comprehension skills.
• Support executive functioning development, including organization, time management, and task initiation.
• Assist with assignments across core classes, emphasizing literacy strategies and comprehension.
• Implement behavior intervention techniques to support focus, engagement, and emotional regulation.
• Collaborate with caregivers and professionals to align tutoring with the student’s broader educational goals.
• Utilize assessments to tailor instruction and monitor growth over time.
