Job Description:

Performs any combination of following duties to safely attend to children: observes and monitors play activities, provides activities, interacts with children in a safe, caring environment, prepare and serve meals, snacks, or formula, accompanies children on walks to the playground, keeps child care area and all materials clean and organized.

Pay Scale:

$17.30/hr.

Requirements

Required:

• Previous child care experience.
• Possess a genuine concern for and ability to relate to young children in a positive manner.
• Successful completion of a pre-employment physical examination, TB test, drug test (including marijuana), and background check in accordance with the Office of Head Start Performance Standards and Child care Licensing. (Physical examination and TB test thereafter as required).
• Must have access to reliable transportation and if using a personal vehicle must maintain minimum liability insurance as determined by the State of Colorado.

Preferred:

• Bilingual in English and Spanish languages.
