Special Projects Journeyman Plumber

Description

Accurate is looking for a licensed Journeyman Plumber to assist with commercial plumbing projects. In this role, you will perform preventative maintenance as well as installing systems according to blueprints or other technical documents. You also oversee apprentice plumbers who have not achieved their journeyman status as they make minor repairs. All employees must follow OSHA regulations and maintain a clean workspace.

Duties and responsibilities

These duties are not all inclusive. Other duties may be assigned at any given time based on the assigned job.

• Install and repair plumbing and drainage systems
• Locate and repair leaks in piping
• Install or replace fixtures
• Perform preventative maintenance
• Oversee apprentices on-site
• Document issues and repairs
• Follow OSHA regulations

Requirements

• Must be able to run a plumbing project
• Must be able to lead a team of journeyman & apprentices
• Must be a leader 
• Back-flow certified a plus 
• DOT gas certified a plus 
• Track hoe & track loader experience a plus 
• Customer oriented 
• OSHA 10 or 30 a plus 
• Clean driving & background check required 
• Clean drug test required

Journeymen are subject to work in indoor and outdoor conditions. Those could include, but are not limited to; heat, cold, wind, rain, or snow. Journeymen and apprentices are also subject to work in cramped, tight, dirty spaces or would be required to climb ladders.
