As a Legislative Specialist 1, you will provide support in planning, formulating, coordinating and implementing policy and legislative services in support of the agency and the Pennsylvania National Guard. In this role, you will c ommunicate with constituents to answer verbal and written inquiries and act as a liaison to the DMVA functional areas to find solutions to constituent questions or concerns. This will involve c onducting research and analysis of policies, legislation, and regulations to provide answers quickly and accurately to inquiries.

Work Schedule and Additional Information:
Full-time employment
Work hours are 8:15 AM to 4:30 PM, Monday - Friday, with 45-minute lunch.
Salary: In some cases, the starting salary may be non-negotiable.

QUALIFICATIONS
Minimum Experience and Training Requirements:
T
wo years of broad governmental experience, including one year of work directly related to legislative analysis;
or
Any equivalent combination of experience and training.
Additional Requirements:
You must possess a valid federal or state-issued photo ID and pass a favorable NCIC screening for admittance to Fort Indiantown Gap.
You must be able to perform essential job functions.
Preferred Qualifications (not required):
Willing and able to work in Lebanon County, PA
Experience in varied office management or staff work
Experience with administrative or computer software applications such as database tracking
Experience working with executive or legislative constituent or customer concerns
Experience preparing legislative or customer service responses
