Specialist, ADA

As an ADA Specialist, you have extensive experience in managing the ADA interactive process, evaluating ADA accommodations, and owning LOA cases & escalations.  You are the Subject Matter Expert and internal thought partner in all matters related to ADA compliance, reasonable accommodations, leave administration and vendor escalation management.  You are both the main employee-facing contact and a key contributing member to driving process improvements and cross-functional initiatives that align with both legal requirements and business objectives.  You own day-to-day items including employee communications and escalation resolution, as well as being a key partner internally for all LOA and ADA discussions.

DAILY

Build strong internal relationships through delivery of quality work.

Own all ADA interactive process steps, evaluating accommodation and leave needs, and complete in a responsive and timely manner.

Support providing reporting and insights to the business on all LOA cases.

Answer all employee and vendor inquiries and provide reminders where applicable.

Identify discrepancies and manage resolution through problem solving, ownership and follow through.

Delivering job aids to internal teams when required in support of the LOA & ADA programs.

PROGRAM MANAGEMENT

Identify gaps and inefficiencies in current processes & assists developing and implementing improvements.

Maintain current knowledge of evolving FMLA, ADA and state-level leaves legislations.

Partner with Legal, Risk, and Talent leadership to ensure enterprise-wide compliance and mitigate exposure.

VENDOR MANAGEMENT

Own agendas and ongoing meetings to ensure relevant/urgent topics are addressed and resolved.

Make data-informed recommendations on vendor selection and process improvements.

SPECIAL PROJECTS

Participate in special projects as assigned.

Bachelor's degree in Human Resources or Business, or equivalent related experience

4+ years of progressive experience in managing the ADA interactive process & LOA administration.

Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills under pressure.

Must be flexible and able to deal with change and ambiguity.

Ability to navigate complex regulatory environments and align policy with business needs.

Effective oral and written communication skills, excellent interpersonal skills.

Knowledge of applicable laws (ADA, HIPAA, FMLA, COBRA etc.) required.

Proven ability to drive innovative programs, initiatives and solutions.

MS Office proficiency (Excel, Outlook, Word, and PowerPoint) required.

This position is open to U.S. citizens, U.S. permanent residents, or individuals who are currently authorized to work in the United States on a valid visa.

The base salary range for this position is $64,000 - $96,000+ cash incentives. Actual salary offers may vary based on work experience. The base pay range is subject to change and may be modified.
