Job Summary

GV Enterprise Holdings is a reputable logistics company specializing in efficient and reliable transportation services. We seek a skilled and dedicated Box Truck Driver to join our team. This position offers the opportunity to work locally or on road trips and ensures a stable work-life balance for our employees.

Responsibilities

Safely and efficiently operate a box truck to transport goods to designated locations within a regional mile radius.

Working a maximum of four days a week with a set salary.

Load and unload cargo using proper techniques, securing items to prevent damage during transit.

Plan routes and adhere to the assigned schedule to ensure timely deliveries.

Conduct routine vehicle inspections and maintenance to guarantee optimal performance and report any issues to the appropriate department.

Maintain accurate records of deliveries, including mileage, fuel usage, and delivery documentation.

Communicate effectively with the management team and team members to ensure smooth operations and resolve any potential issues.

Provide excellent customer service by addressing customer inquiries or concerns in a professional and friendly manner.

Adhere to all traffic laws, regulations, and company policies to ensure safety and compliance.

Qualifications

Valid driver's license.

Proven experience as a box truck driver or a similar role, demonstrating a clean driving record or minor issues. Please call to discuss if this sounds like a role you are interested in.

Strong knowledge of local traffic laws, regulations, and routes within the designated area.

Excellent driving skills and the ability to navigate efficiently, even in challenging situations.

Exceptional time management skills and the ability to meet tight delivery schedules.

Physical stamina and the ability to lift heavy objects repeatedly.

Effective communication skills and the ability to interact professionally with customers and team members.

Strong attention to detail and accuracy in recording delivery information.

Must have a cell phone with a data plan.

Box Truck experience needed.

Need the ability to get a driver's dot medical card

Must be able to pass a drug test

CDL License is not required

F endorsement required

Compensation: $885.00 - $1,185.00 per week
