A Brief Overview

We are seeking a highly organized and proactive Specialist, Marketing Strategy & Operations to support strategic campaign planning and operational excellence across our physical and digital marketing channels. Reporting directly to the Manager, Marketing Strategy & Operations, this role supports the planning, execution, and continuous improvement of marketing campaigns and operational initiatives. Working collaboratively across Marketing and key cross-functional partners — including Merchandising, Sales, Retail Operations, Buying, and Creative — this role interacts with all levels of the organization, from coordinators and specialists to senior managers and VPs, helping ensure deliverables are executed effectively while identifying opportunities to streamline processes and drive organizational efficiency. The ideal candidate is a highly organized, proactive self-starter who can balance day-to-day campaign management with long-term process improvement.

  • This position does not have people leadership responsibilities.



What You'll Do



  • Support the planning, coordination, and execution of integrated marketing initiatives, including product launches, brand campaigns, experiential events, and promotional activations across physical and digital channels.

  • Manage day-to-day project timelines, workflows, and deliverables to ensure campaigns are executed on time and stakeholders remain aligned throughout planning and execution.

  • Partner with Marketing and cross-functional teams, including Merchandising, Sales, Retail Operations, Buying, and Creative, to facilitate campaign development and execution from concept through launch.

  • Proactively identify process improvement opportunities and support the implementation of new operational initiatives that enhance team efficiency and collaboration.

  • Coordinate creative intake, project management, and workflow processes to ensure marketing assets are developed, reviewed, and delivered on established timelines.

  • Maintain integrated marketing calendars and planning tools, aligning product, brand, retail, event, and promotional priorities across the business.

  • Support post-campaign recaps by gathering results, documenting key learnings, and identifying opportunities to improve future planning and execution.

  • Champion operational best practices, process adherence, and documentation standards to drive consistency across marketing initiatives.

  • Provide on-site operational support for marketing events, activations, and brand experiences as needed, coordinating logistics and representing the Marketing Strategy & Operations team in the field.

How You'll Be Successful



  • Strong organizational and project management skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities, deadlines, and stakeholders simultaneously.

  • Experience coordinating complex projects, workbacks, timelines, and deliverables in a fast-paced environment.

  • Experience using project management and collaboration platforms such as Asana, Trello, Monday.com, or Smartsheet.

  • Strong cross-functional collaboration skills, with the ability to build relationships and influence outcomes across teams.

  • Ability to adapt communication style and build credibility across all levels of the organization, from coordinators and specialists to senior managers and VPs.

  • Confident and assertive in driving alignment and holding cross-functional stakeholders accountable to timelines and deliverables.

  • Excellent written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills.

  • Highly proactive self-starter who anticipates needs, identifies potential risks, and drives work forward with minimal direction.

  • Ability to bring structure and clarity to ambiguous situations and navigate changing business priorities effectively.

  • Demonstrated ability to identify process improvement opportunities and implement solutions that enhance operational efficiency.

  • Passion for sports, footwear, fashion, and delivering high-quality work with exceptional attention to detail; familiarity with the ASICS brand is a plus.

  • Curiosity and interest in leveraging AI-powered tools and emerging technologies to improve productivity and streamline workflows.

  • Working knowledge of marketing, e-commerce, retail, or consumer brand environments preferred.

  • Ability to travel domestically at least once per quarter, and internationally as needed.



What You'll Need



  • Bachelor’s Degree in Arts/Sciences (BA/BS) or equivalent combination of education, experience, and training required

  • 3-5 years of relevant experience in marketing operations, project management, or a related field required

  • Understanding of marketing functions and their relevant silos required

  • Self-motivated with outstanding organizational skills, including the ability to prioritize and multitask in a fast-paced environment required

  • Ability to problem-solve, exercise sound judgment, and think critically to make effective business decisions required

  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office and Mac platforms (Teams, Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint) required

  • Experience using project management software such as Asana or Trello required



SALARY / PAY RANGE: $68,000-$73,000
