Specialist, Pipeline

Venture Global LNG (“Venture Global”) is a long-term, low-cost provider of American-produced liquefied natural gas. The company’s Louisiana-based export projects service the global demand for North American natural gas and support the long-term development of clean and reliable North American energy supplies. Using reliable, proven technology in an innovative plant design configuration, Venture Global’s modular, mid-scale plant design will replace traditional designs as it allows for the same efficiency and operational reliability at significantly lower capital cost.

We are seeking qualified applicants for the position of Pipeline Specialist located in Houston, Texas.

General Description:

The Pipeline Specialist will support the implementation and management of a successful integrated Management System, to include development of work processes and systems. This role will support the management and continuous improvement of the framework, associated programs and systems.

Responsibilities:

• Support the development and implementation of VG’s Pipeline Management System.


• Support the development and/or modification of management system standards, programs and procedures.


• Develop, organize and maintain reporting tools to keep management and stakeholders apprised of management system maturity.


• Facilitate work process sessions to identify and document continous improvement opportunities and work with leadership to drive plans to completion.


• Assist in development, improvement, and implementation of systems supporting the management system and associated work processes.


• Provide training and support to end-users, as required.

Qualifications:

Education and Certifications

• Bachelor’s Degree from an accredited four year college or university, in a technical discipline preferred (or equivalent experience).

Experience:

• 7-10 years of experience with preference in oil and gas, pipelines.


• Knowledge and experience of 49CFR191 & 192 regulations, and various state regulations. (preferred experience in Louisiana and Texas)


• Experience in design, implementation and management of Management Systems.


• Experience in process management, operations, or continuous improvement.

Skills:

• Strong knowledge of workflow mapping and process standardization.


• Proficient written and verbal communication skills.


• Proven analytical and judgment skills.


• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to train and support end-users.


• Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines.


• Proficient in MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Vizio skills.
