Job Summary:

Manages and optimizes technology systems and tools utilized by the procurement and supply chain department, ensuring proper configuration, functionality, and security to support efficient operations.

Job Description:

  • Optimizes and manage procurement technology systems, develop detailed configuration documentation, and implement security monitoring strategies to mitigate risks, ensure data integrity, and support seamless supply chain operations.

  • Resolves technical issues for systems teams and end-users, providing expert support to ensure optimal system performance and user efficiency.

  • Provides expertise in a systems configuration and security management to support the development and implementation of effective solutions.

  • Monitors compliance and process effectiveness to ensure alignment with policies and continuous improvement.

  • Delivers training and guidance to stakeholders to enhance understanding and adoption of best practices.

  • Follows established company policies, procedures, and standards to ensure full compliance with applicable laws and industry regulations.

  • Participates in storm restoration tasks and assigned drills to contribute to the safe and reliable recovery of services.

  • Performs additional tasks aligned with role expectations and qualifications to support team goals and operational flexibility.

Additional Job Description:

Education

  • Bachelor’s degree in computer science or information systems or related field.

Experience

  • 5 years' experience with functional role responsibilities, including system configuration, data collection, analysis, and interpretation to support technology optimization and security strategies.

  • Experience working with documents, policies, SOP creation and implementation.

  • Experience leading or collaborating with small projects.

  • Experience as matter-expert and asset resource to provide support to internal/external clients.

Additional experience may substitute for required education when it aligns with the competencies and knowledge necessary for the role:

  • Associate’s degree in a relevant field may substitute when accompanied by a minimum of 8 years of experience performing similar functions and at least 5 years of experience performing a previous position as Specialist role.

  • High School or equivalent (GED) when accompanied by a minimum of 10 years of experience performing similar functions described and at least 8 years of experience performing a previous Specialist role.

Competencies (Skills)

  • Proven ability to develop and foster strong working relationships with stakeholders and all levels of management within LUMA.

  • Proven leadership experience within cross-functional teams

  • Skilled in workflow and operational efficiency.

  • Skilled in effective, innovative optimization of leading performance standards

  • Demonstrates fluency in verbal and written communication skills in Spanish and English.  

  • Knowledge in Microsoft Office and other relevant software/systems in an experienced manner

  • Ability to develop oral, written and digital presentations or reports with the ability to communicate ideas and strategies to various audiences.

  • Valid Driver’s License
