About the job:
Bend Park & Recreation District is seeking experienced art instructors to teach engaging classes for youth and adults. We welcome instructors with expertise in acrylic painting, watercolor, drawing, journaling, photography, and other general art forms. Instructors should be passionate about fostering creativity while providing a safe, inclusive, and supportive learning environment.
Our Art Instructors plan and instruct specialized classes and activities, develop lesson plans, prepare materials, provide engaging instruction, and monitor participants. Instructors should be able to adapt instruction to a variety of skill levels and create a positive, welcoming experience for all participants.

Work schedule will be determined together with the Arts and Enrichment Supervisor, based on both classroom and instructor availability for Fall and Winter Programming.

1. First Aid/CPR or ability to obtain within 30 days of hire is required in some positions.
