LMK Recruiting, in partnership with our client, is seeking a compassionate and skilled Speech-Language Pathologist to join a child-centered, neurodiversity-affirming practice in Irvine, CA. The Speech-Language Pathologist will conduct evaluations, develop individualized treatment plans, and provide engaging therapy services for children with a variety of speech, language, voice, and fluency needs. Youll collaborate closely with families and a multidisciplinary team to ensure strengths-based, affirming, and functional outcomes across daily environments.
Conduct assessments to identify communication strengths and areas of need
Create and implement individualized, neurodiversity-affirming therapy plans
Deliver play-based, child-led speech-language therapy
Partner with caregivers, educators, and related professionals to support generalization of skills
Maintain clear, timely, and compliant documentation
Provide caregiver education on therapy goals and strategies to use at home
Participate in team meetings, case reviews, and professional development opportunities
Masters degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
Current California SLP license (or eligibility for licensure)
ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) preferred
Strong interpersonal skills and a passion for supporting each childs individuality
Comfort with flexible, play-based therapy guided by the childs interests
Pediatric experience preferred but not required
Experience with AAC or apraxia treatment is a plus
