Job Description - Speech Language Pathologist

HIRING NOW: In-Person SLP in Oakland, CA!We are seeking an in-person Speech-Language Pathologist for a School-Based Assignment in Oakland, CA.

Join our team in assessing, treating, and managing caseloads at the elementary, middle or high school grade levels. What makes us dynamic is our supportive, vibrant, and collaborative environment where we give you the tools you need to succeed.Responsibilities:Provide evidence-based therapy plans, goals, and therapeutic treatment for speech/language disorders.

Evaluate and implement standardized tests for accurate diagnosis of communication disorders.

Case Management for students on caseload

Attend, facilitate, and write legally compliant/defensible IEPs

Provide supervision for a CF or SLPA if needed or as appropriate.

Performs other related duties as assigned by management.

Attend training as requested, collaborate, and provide support to other SPED teachers/specialists as well as GE staff.

Qualifications:REQUIRED: Current California SLP License

Master's Degree in Speech Pathology or Communication Disorders. CFY's accepted and encouraged to apply.

Experience with Case Management & IEP Writing

Knowledge of Special Education compliance law & regulations

Must have a strong desire to work with a wide array of populations

Exercise good judgment in prioritization - complete assigned tasks without supervision

Ability to build rapport with staff

Excellent written skills and efficient verbal communication at all organizational levels
