Speech Language Pathologist 70-80 per hour full time 1 yr school placement

Boston Speech Therapy is looking for a dedicated Speech Language Pathologist for a full-time position at a school for a 1-year placement. As a Speech Language Pathologist, you will be responsible for assessing students' communication skills, developing personalized treatment plans, and implementing effective therapy to enhance their communication abilities. You will work collaboratively with educators and parents to support students' educational goals in a nurturing and engaging environment.

Responsibilities:

• Conduct comprehensive assessments to diagnose communication disorders in students.
• Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) specific to each student's needs.
• Deliver one-on-one and group therapy sessions aimed at improving speech and language skills.
• Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other specialists to facilitate students' learning and development.
• Maintain accurate records of student progress and therapy outcomes.
• Provide guidance and support to families on strategies to promote communication skills at home.

• Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology
• Current state licensure or certification as a Speech Language Pathologist
• Experience working in a school setting preferred
• Strong assessment and treatment planning skills
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a multidisciplinary team
• Knowledge of current best practices in speech-language therapy for children

This is a 1099 position

Pay: $70 - $80/hour

35 hours per week

ASHA fees and MA license reimbursed
