Position: Speech Language Pathologist Assistant (SLPA)
Location: Hammond, IN

We are seeking a motivated Speech Language Pathologist Assistant (SLPA) to join our team in Hammond, IN. This position involves working with a K-12 caseload and may require flexibility in traveling to multiple sites throughout the week.

Responsibilities:

• Assist Speech Language Pathologists (SLPs) in conducting assessments, developing treatment plans, and implementing interventions for students with munication disorders.
• Provide direct support to students in individual or small group settings under the supervision of an SLP.
• Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other professionals to support students' munication goals within the educational setting.
• Maintain accurate records of student progress and participation in therapy sessions.
• Adapt therapy materials and techniques to meet the diverse needs of students with varying abilities and backgrounds.

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in Speech-Language Pathology, munication Sciences and Disorders, or related field.
• Valid certification as a Speech Language Pathologist Assistant (SLPA) in Indiana.
• Experience working with children or adolescents in educational settings preferred.
• Flexibility to travel to multiple sites throughout the week as needed.
