Speech Language Pathologist - PRN

Description

HTS is seeking dedicated Speech Language Pathologists to join the therapy teams on a PRN basis at two continuing care retirement communities located in Louisville, Kentucky. This is an excellent opportunity for professionals looking for flexible work arrangements in a supportive environment. Availability for a mixture of weekday and weekend shifts is preferred. 

Key Responsibilities:

- Conduct comprehensive evaluations of patients' speech and language abilities.

- Complete recertifications, progress notes, and discharge summaries.

- Provide skilled patient treatments on an as-needed, PRN basis.

- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to develop and implement treatment plans.

- Maintain accurate documentation in compliance with regulatory standards.

Requirements

Applicants must have active Kentucky Speech Language Pathologist license or must have the necessary qualifications to earn Kentucky license. These qualifications include a Master’s Degree in speech-language pathology, passing the Praxis II: Subject Assessment in Speech-Language Pathology exam, and fulfilling the state’s requirements for licensure. Additionally, applicants must hold Certificate of Clinical Competence or be supervised as a Clinical Fellow prior to attaining CCCs.
