Speech Language Pathologist - Rewarding Work

A Skilled nursing facility in Orange County is seeking a full time talented and compassionate Speech Language Pathologist to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will be passionate about helping clients overcome communication disorders and achieve their full potential. As a Speech Language Pathologist, you will be responsible for assessing, diagnosing, and treating a wide range of speech, language, and swallowing disorders. You will develop individualized treatment plans, provide therapy sessions, and collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive care.

Key Responsibilities:

· Conduct comprehensive evaluations to assess speech, language, and swallowing disorders.

· Develop personalized treatment plans based on assessment findings and client goals.

· Provide evidence-based therapy interventions to address communication challenges.

· Monitor client progress and adjust treatment plans as needed.

· Educate clients and their families on communication strategies and exercises.

· Collaborate with other healthcare professionals, such as physicians and educators, to coordinate care.

· Maintain accurate and thorough documentation of client assessments, treatment plans, and progress notes.

· Stay current with advancements in speech language pathology through continuing education and professional development.

Qualifications:

· Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program.

· Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP) preferred.

· State licensure or eligibility for licensure as a Speech-Language Pathologist.

· Clinical experience working with diverse populations across the lifespan.

· Strong interpersonal and communication skills.

· Ability to work collaboratively as part of a multidisciplinary team.
