As a virtual SLP, you will work with children and families to develop personalized treatment plans and deliver engaging therapy sessions through our secure online platform.
Position Overview: Part time or Full time hours available for the upcoming school year. The ideal candidate will provide teletherapy services to K-12 students with physical disabilities or challenges that impact their educational experience. This role involves developing and implementing individualized therapy plans, collaborating with educators and parents, and utilizing innovative online tools to deliver effective physical therapy sessions.
Key Responsibilities:
Conduct comprehensive speech and language assessments via teletherapy.
Develop and implement individualized treatment plans for clients.
Provide direct speech and language therapy services to clients remotely.
Monitor and document client progress, adjusting treatment plans as needed.
Participate in team meetings, training, and professional development opportunities.
Qualifications:
Master's or Doctorate degree in Speech Language Pathology.
Current California state licensure.
Experience working with children in a school setting.
Proficient in using teletherapy platforms and other relevant technology.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to work independently and manage a flexible schedule.
Passion for helping students achieve their full potential.
Preferred Qualifications:
ASHA CCC
Experience with Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) and 504 Plans.
Familiarity with adaptive equipment and assistive technology.
