PRN Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) for NHC

This is afull-time, two-month position basedat NHC Sequatchie, serving Coffee CountySchools. The roleinvolves traveling tomultiple locations, withpaid travel provided. After the initialtwo-month assignment, the position willtransition to PRN(as needed) status.
Requirements:
Must have Master’s degree from an approved curriculum in Speech Pathology or its equivalent.
Must have Tennessee Speech Therapist license & Current Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) from the American Speech/Language/Hearing Association
Must be flexible & reliable
Thorough knowledge of the principles, methods, materials, and equipment used in speech therapy.
Knowledge of the possible hazards to patients and necessary, precautionary measures during treatment.
Ability to understand, interpret, and adapt a physician’s written or oral directions and to suggest treatment programs and outline expected benefits regarding speech therapy treatment.
Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with patients, families, medical staff and other personnel.
Ability to perform the mental, physical and emotional requirements of the job.
Possess the initiative and judgment involved in planning, performing and supervising speech therapy services according to accepted standards of Speech Therapy practice.
Thorough knowledge of third party reimbursement requirements for documentation and treatment. Seek information from appropriate sources as needed.
Maintain confidentiality of patient information.
