Location: Watkins Glen / Montour Falls, New York
Pay: $35.96–$50.08/hour | Full-Time, Days | Preferred 8:00 AM–4:30 PM | Rotating Weekend Coverage

The Opportunity

A skilled nursing and rehabilitation provider in the scenic Finger Lakes region is looking for a full-time Speech Language Pathologist to join its care team. You'll evaluate and treat patients with speech, language, cognitive, communication, and swallowing disorders in a collaborative, patient-centered environment. Your Day-to-Day

  • Conduct speech, language, cognitive, and swallowing evaluations for skilled nursing and post-acute patients
  • Develop individualized treatment plans with measurable, patient-centered goals
  • Deliver skilled speech therapy based on physician referrals and ongoing patient needs
  • Monitor patient progress and adjust treatment approaches as clinically appropriate
  • Document evaluations, treatment sessions, and outcomes accurately and on time
  • Educate patients, families, and caregivers on treatment plans and safety strategies
  • Collaborate with physicians, nursing staff, and rehabilitation team members to coordinate care
  • Supervise rehab aides in accordance with New York State guidelines
  • Stay current through continuing education and ongoing professional development

What We're Looking For

  • Master's degree in Speech Language Pathology
  • New York State SLP license or eligibility for licensure
  • Clinical Fellows (SLP-CF) welcome to apply
  • CCC-SLP preferred for experienced candidates
  • Background in skilled nursing, rehabilitation, long-term care, or post-acute settings preferred
  • Strong communication, organization, and time management skills
  • Ability to assist with patient mobility and lift up to 50 pounds
