Speech Language Specialist

LOCATION:

Special Education Department QUALIFICATIONS:

* Master's Degree in speech and language pathology.* Valid New Jersey Speech Therapist Certificate or eligibility.* Experience working with urban children preferred.* Experience with pre-school children preferred.

DUTIES:

TERMS OF

* Identify and evaluate children with communication and auditory disorders (articulation, fluency, language, voice and hearing). Provide* appropriate therapies designed to remediate those conditions that adversely affect the child's educational performance.* Consult with classroom teachers and parents regarding progress and reinforcement activities.* Plan and manage a program of speech and language services.

EMPLOYMENT:
