Speech Therapist (ST) Private School Setting

Requirements

Qualifications:

• Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
   
• Current state licensure as a Speech-Language Pathologist (or eligibility to obtain licensure)
   
• Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) from ASHA preferred, but strong CF candidates may be considered
   
• Experience working with school-aged children preferred
   
• Strong communication and collaboration skills
   

Responsibilities:

• Provide speech and language therapy services using an outpatient model within a school setting
   
• Work collaboratively with teachers, staff, and families to support student success
   
• Help modify classroom environments as needed to enhance learning opportunities
   
• Provide therapy for a variety of speech and language needs, including articulation, language processing, fluency, and social communication
   
• Maintain flexibility within the school day to accommodate classroom schedules and school activities
   
• No IEP writing required – focus on therapy and student progress
