Metro's Speech Department continues to grow and we're hiring a full time Speech-Language Pathologist in Huntington. The caseload consists of 6 hours in our Huntington outpatient clinic with potential to build, and the remaining hours doing homecare across Suffolk County. 

Caseload demographics include: Aphasia, Dysphagia, Pediatrics, School-Age, Voice, Feeding, Cognitive Communication Disorders, AAC use, etc. 

*Unfortunately, we are not accepting CFs at this time due to inability to bill for Medicare B services.

Job Type: Full Time w/ benefits

Salary: $70-75k

Schedule: Flexible 

Setting: Hybrid outpatient (Huntington clinic) & homecare cases

Requirements

• Licensed Speech-Language Pathologist in the state of New York 
• TSSLD
• Evaluates a patient's need for speech therapy and develops an appropriate treatment plan.
• Provide appropriate care and treatment to patients based on physician care plan, agency policy and professional standards of care.
• Instructs family members, Home Health Aides, and other caregivers in appropriate speech therapy techniques & HEP
• Mandatory Certifications: First Aid, AED, & CPR Certifications (live course)
