The Opportunity
A well-established health organization in the heart of the Finger Lakes is seeking a licensed Speech-Language Pathologist to join its collaborative rehabilitative services team. You'll deliver individualized speech therapy across inpatient, outpatient, ALC, and skilled nursing settings — making a direct, measurable impact on patient recovery and quality of life. Your Day-to-Day
Evaluate patients and build individualized treatment plans based on physician prescriptions
Document evaluations, progress notes, treatment plans, and required clinical reports accurately and on time
Communicate regularly with physicians and interdisciplinary team members to coordinate seamless patient care
Educate patients, families, and caregivers on treatment goals and home strategies
Mentor and guide support staff involved in patient care delivery
Maintain speech therapy equipment and contribute to developing new program services
Participate in in-service education, professional development, and departmental committees
Provide age-appropriate care across all patient populations in compliance with departmental policies
What We're Looking For
Graduate of an accredited Speech-Language Pathology program
Eligible for New York State licensure and ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC), or CCC already obtained
BLS certification required within 90 days of hire
1–2 years of hospital experience preferred
Ability to perform frequent standing with intermittent lifting, positioning, or transferring of patients or equipment
