You'll provide essential speech, language, voice, and swallowing therapy to residents in a 4-star rated skilled nursing facility located in the scenic Southern Tier of New York. Your Day-to-Day
Evaluate residents and develop individualized treatment plans tailored to their needs
Provide therapy to address speech, language, voice, and swallowing impairments
Collaborate with physicians, caregivers, and rehab staff to deliver quality care
Document evaluations, progress, and discharge plans in accordance with facility and regulatory guidelines
Participate in interdisciplinary care planning and communicate with families about resident progress
Conduct and coordinate audiometric screenings and make appropriate referrals
Help train facility staff and contribute to in-service education efforts
Follow all safety and compliance policies with professionalism and compassion
What We're Looking For
M.A. or M.S. in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
Current New York State license (or eligibility) to practice as a Speech-Language Pathologist
ASHA CCC preferred
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Strong team-oriented mindset and dedication to resident-centered care
