Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) – Assisted Living Facility | Oregon

Salary Range: $75,000 – $85,000 per year

Location: Beaverton, Oregon

Job Type: Full-Time

Schedule: Monday to Friday, 9 AM – 5 PM

Job Overview:

We are seeking a Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) to join our multidisciplinary team at an assisted living facility in Oregon. In this role, you will provide specialized therapy to help our senior residents improve communication, swallowing, and cognitive-communication abilities, enhancing their quality of life.

Key Responsibilities:

• Evaluate, diagnose, and treat speech, language, cognitive-communication, and swallowing disorders in elderly residents
• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans based on patient needs
• Collaborate with nursing staff, caregivers, and other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive care
• Educate residents and families on therapy goals and techniques
• Maintain accurate and timely documentation in compliance with regulatory standards

• Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
• Valid and active SLP license or certification to practice in Oregon
• Experience working with geriatric populations preferred
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work effectively within a multidisciplinary team
