Adelphi is seeking a Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) to provide speech-language pathology services to students within a school in Teague, Texas. The SLP will provide evaluations, direct treatment, consultation, case management, and related services in accordance with students’ Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) and Admission, Review, and Dismissal (ARD) Committee recommendations.

Requirements
• Current Texas Speech-Language Pathologist license
• Experience providing speech-language pathology services in public schools preferred

Responsibilities
• Provide direct speech-language pathology treatment to students in accordance with their IEPs and ARD Committee recommendations.
• Conduct initial and ongoing speech-language evaluations and assessments as requested by the Special Education Department.
• Develop and update IEP Present Levels of Academic Achievement and Functional Performance (PLAAFP), goals, and objectives.
• Complete evaluations and discharge summaries for students who no longer qualify for speech-language services.
• Prepare and submit student progress reports each grading period and six-week reporting period.
• Maintain monthly service logs documenting dates and units of service for each student.
• Provide appropriate case management, paperwork, progress reporting, and related documentation.
• Attend ARD Committee meetings when requested and scheduling permits.
• Coordinate service schedules and visits with the District’s Program Director.
• Assist students and families with referrals for appropriate equipment, services, and resources.
• Collaborate with teachers, administrators, special education personnel, families, and other members of the educational team.
• Provide supervision of speech-language pathology assistants when assigned.
• Maintain accurate records and comply with District, state, and professional standards governing speech-language pathology services.
• Perform other duties as assigned
