Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) Position - Columbus, OH Area

Soliant Health, a distinguished contract agency in healthcare staffing, is currently seeking a qualified Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) for a temporary position at a school district near Columbus, OH. The selected candidate will be required to start on March 2024 and work until May 23, 2024, with a weekly mitment of 38.75 hours. The caseload will involve a bination of elementary and middle school buildings.

Responsibilities:

  • Conducting prehensive assessments to identify speech and language needs of students
  • Developing and implementing individualized therapy plans for a cross-categorical caseload
  • Collaborating with teachers and support staff to integrate speech and language strategies into the academic environment
  • Monitoring and documenting the progress of students receiving speech-language services
  • Providing services to a weighted caseload of approximately 73 students
  • Working with students aged 5 to 14, addressing various munication disorders

Qualifications:

  • Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology
  • Active state SLP licensure in Ohio
  • ASHA Certification (CCC-SLP)
  • Experience working with a diverse caseload in elementary and middle school settings
  • Strong munication and collaboration skills
  • Ability to adapt therapy plans based on individual student needs
  • Understanding of cross-categorical caseloads and effective intervention strategies
