Pay Rate: $17–$19/hour (Depending on Experience)
Location: Tulsa, OK
Hours: Monday – Friday, 6:00 AM – 2:30 PM (Hours may vary depending on company needs; weekend and on-call work may be required)
Job Type: Temp-to-Perm

Position Overview

We are seeking a reliable and motivated Spill Technician to join a responsive environmental services team in Tulsa, OK. This role supports spill containment and response operations in both land and marine environments. Ideal candidates will have a mechanical aptitude, strong work ethic, and a willingness to respond to emergencies under varying conditions.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist in the deployment and recovery of oil spill containment boom and related equipment
• Support emergency spill response efforts on land and water under direction of senior technicians
• Clean, inspect, and maintain response tools including skimmers, pumps, and absorbents
• Load and unload materials and equipment for field operations
• Perform general shop duties including inventory management, equipment preparation, and maintaining a clean workspace
• Follow all safety protocols and wear proper PPE at all times
• Participate in scheduled training sessions and emergency drills

Required Skills & Experience

• Prior experience in warehouse or manufacturing environments
• Experience operating forklifts and performing shipping/receiving tasks
• Basic mechanical aptitude and familiarity with hand/power tools
• Valid driver’s license required
• Ability to pass a background check and drug screen
• Ability to lift 50 lbs and work outdoors in various weather conditions
• Willingness to travel and work irregular hours, including nights and weekends during emergency responses
