Job Title: Spiritual Growth and Support Coordinator

Location: San Diego, CA 92132

Position Type: Contract - PT to FT

Responsibilities:

• Conduct workshops and retreats for large groups of Spiritual Growth and Support Program participants.
• Create a safe emotional space for participants, including those experiencing operational stress, post-traumatic stress, battle fatigue, and other visible and invisible wounds.
• Facilitate Spiritual Growth and Support Program formats such as weekend retreats away from the base in civilian clothes or on-base workshops.
• Provide balanced and impartial support to the COMMANDER NAVY REGION SOUTHWEST Spiritual Growth and Support Program program for command administration.
• Assist in strengthening the fleet, fighter, and family through the CNRSW Spiritual Growth and Support program's mission.

Qualifications:

• Credentialed subject matter expert with the knowledge, skills, and abilities of a seminary-trained religious professional.
• Extensive familiarity with Spiritual Growth and Support programs and mission.
• Experience in conducting workshops and retreats for large groups.
• Sensitivity and empathy towards individuals dealing with operational stress, post-traumatic stress, and other related challenges.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
• Ability to work collaboratively with command administration and program participants.
• Flexibility and adaptability to various Spiritual Growth and Support Program formats.
