The Sportsbook Manager is responsible for leading and optimizing the Sportsbook vertical, ensuring it remains competitive, engaging, and aligned with player interests. This role involves strategic planning, campaign coordination, and cross-functional collaboration with departments such as Marketing, Retention, CRM, and Product.
The Sportsbook Manager curates key events and content, manages promotional activity with external partners, and drives performance through data-informed decisions. The role plays a key part in delivering a high-quality betting experience that contributes to player satisfaction and business growth.
🎯 The responsibilities & the impact YOU will have:
Communication and collaboration
- Collaborates with internal teams including Marketing, CRM, and Product to plan and execute Sportsbook-related campaigns and initiatives.
- Aligns with the Retention team on strategies to boost engagement during key sporting events.
- Serves as the primary point of contact for Sportsbook providers regarding campaigns, content, and performance coordination.
Content and calendar management
- Owns and maintains a dynamic Sportsbook content calendar, highlighting key matches, leagues, and tournaments across relevant markets.
- Provides structured guidance for campaign planning, content updates, and promotional positioning.
- Monitors player interest trends and sporting relevance to prioritize events and keep internal stakeholders informed.
Website organization and feature management
- Oversees the placement and structure of Sportsbook sections on the site to ensure intuitive user navigation and content hierarchy.
- Provides input to Product and UX teams on layout priorities and visibility of Sportsbook content.
- Manages and optimizes interactive Sportsbook features (e.g., predictors, match hubs, or other engagement tools) to support broader campaign and user experience goals.
Project coordination and management
- Coordinates the execution of Sportsbook-related updates by aligning with design, product, CRM, and development teams.
- Tracks and manages requests for content updates, layout changes, and campaign implementations.
- Collaborates with Product Managers on tooling improvements, surfacing logic, and feature development specific to the Sportsbook vertical.
- Supports the coordination and enablement of external provider-led promotions and technical activations, working cross-functionally to ensure smooth implementation.
⚡ All you need is…
- 3+ years of experience working in Sportsbook management, operations, or a senior specialist role within the iGaming industry.
- Strong understanding of sports betting products, markets, player motivations, and event dynamics across different sports verticals.
- Proven experience in campaign planning, content coordination, or calendar/event prioritization related to sportsbook promotions.
- Familiarity with sportsbook platforms, provider tools, and bonus/CRM systems used to deliver and manage betting-related campaigns.
- Demonstrated ability to work cross-functionally with Product, UX, CRM, Marketing, and Data/BI teams.
- Solid organizational and coordination skills, capable of managing complex calendars and multi-departmental campaign rollouts.
- Comfortable interpreting performance metrics (e.g. campaign ROI, GGR trends, user engagement) and making data-informed decisions.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills for stakeholder alignment and
provider negotiation.
