Spot Welder/Assembler - Afternoon shift

Starting Pay: $19.75 – $21.50 per hour depending on experience
Hours: Shift 16: Monday – Thursday, 3:00 PM – 1:00 AM

We are hiring a Spot Welder / Assembler to attach hardware and components to metal stamped parts using spot-welding and assembly machines. This role ensures precise alignment, high-quality welds, and accurate production records in ERP system, while following all safety protocols.

Key Responsibilities

• Operate spot-welding and assembly machines to attach hardware to parts according to production specifications
• Set up and configure spot-welding and assembly jobs with guidance as needed
• Monitor equipment performance, report malfunctions, and replace worn electrodes or tips
• Inspect parts for quality and ensure alignment and adherence to specifications
• Record production and welding activity in ERP System.

• Experience in a manufacturing or assembly role preferred, but not required
• High school diploma or equivalent preferred
• Attention to detail to ensure accuracy and quality in welding and assembly
• Ability to learn and perform equipment setups, identify and clear faults, and use inspection gauges
• Basic computer skills

Physical Requirements

• Ability to sit or stand for extended periods
• Occasional lifting up to 65lbs
• Bend, reach, and handle parts throughout the shift
• Frequent handling of parts and machine components
• Required PPE: eye protection, hearing protection, MET guard safety shoes
