About the Job

• A typical day for a lawn technician starts at 6:45am. 
• We work Monday-Friday 40 hours a week. 
• We work a flexible schedule but our normal hours are till 6:45-4:00 Mon-Thursday and 6:45-1 on Friday. We use the short day on Friday to make up for bad weather. 
• After a quick morning huddle with the team, spray technicians are out of the shop by 7:15 with their own route. 
• An average day is treating 18-22 residential lawns with a combination of push spreading fertilizer and/or spraying the lawn for weeds, disease, etc. 

If you love being out side, getting exercise and problem solving, this is the job for you. It's important we treat our customers lawn like our own so we require problem solving skills and great customer communication. We take pride in the quality of our work so attention to detail is very important.

Spray Technician Duties & Responsibilities:

• Perform chemical and fertilizer applications.
• Aerate and seed lawns in the fall. 
• Monitor turf health and diagnose problems.
• Communicate details of the lawn to the customers
• Drive, maintain, and safely operate all equipment.

Spray Technician Skills & Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent required. 
• 2+ years of working outside required.
• Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation required.
• Excellent communication and customer service skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
