Spray Technician (Lawn Care Applicator)

Halter is seeking a motivated Spray Technician to join our Lawn Care division. This role focuses on applying fertilization, weed control, and turf care treatments while ensuring high-quality results and excellent customer service. This is an ideal position for someone who enjoys working outdoors and wants to build expertise in turf management and plant health care.

Reports to: 

Operations Management 

Responsibilities:

• Apply lawn fertilization, weed control, and turf care treatments according to company programs


• Identify turf health issues, weeds, insects, and disease conditions and report findings


• Safely handle, mix, and apply fertilizers and lawn care products in compliance with regulations


• Maintain accurate service records and application documentation


• Calibrate and maintain spray and application equipment


• Ensure proper use of PPE and adherence to safety standards


• Operate and maintain spray rigs, tanks, and related equipment


• Load and transport materials safely


• Perform routine equipment inspections and basic maintenance

Requirements:

• Valid driver’s license with reliable transportation


• Ability to work outdoors in various weather conditions


• Ability to lift and carry up to 50 lbs


• Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions


• Interest in turf care, lawn health, and outdoor work


• Pesticide applicator license or willingness to obtain (company-supported)


• Experience with spray equipment or mechanical aptitude preferred
