Job Title: Sprinkler Technician Location:  2251 Silver Creek Rd, Fort Worth, TX 76108 FLSA Classification: Non-Exempt Position Type and Schedule:  Full-Time Schedule: Monday - Friday 7:00am-4:00pm and Saturday 7:00am- 1:00pm, as needed Work hours are subject to change, and overtime is not guaranteed. Pay Range: $18.00/hour About the role As a Sprinkler Technician at Silver Creek Materials, you'll play a crucial role in maintaining the integrity and functionality of our pumping systems. Reporting to the Compost and Liquids Director, you'll be responsible for maintaining equipment, and ensuring optimal flow and performance. From managing pumps to maintaining pipes and valves, your expertise will ensure the smooth operation of our irrigation systems. What you'll do Ability to comprehend complex pumping/plumbing systems Valves, pipes, understand flow, etc Maintain pumps and agricultural sprinklers Keep equipment clean and in good operating condition Maintain pipes HDPE fusion Make changes to plumbing as system needs change Maintain drains Ensure adequate flow Maintain/manage small pump inventory Gas powered trash pumps Electric sump pumps Other duties as assigned Qualifications A High School Diploma or Equivalent. Farm tractor experience is a plus. Ability to meet the schedule requirements and maintain reliable attendance. Ability to multitask and thrive in a fast-paced environment. Ability to work with various personality and attitude types. Ability to memorize and recall detailed information. Ability to stand on your feet in an outdoor environment for long periods of time. Self-motivated with a strong work ethic to exceed company and personal goals. Willing to work outdoors in all weather conditions as needed. Ability to navigate uneven ground surfaces. Valid Driver's License preferred. Bilingual in English and Spanish is a plus. Must comply with background check and Drug-free Workplace Policy Ability to perform limited physical tasks, including lifting up to 25lbs.
